Workshop: Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Model Intercomparison Project
January 30–February 1, 2012
The Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Model Intercomparison Project (ACCMIP) is organized under the auspices of Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate (AC&C), a project of International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) and Stratospheric Processes And their Role in Climate (SPARC) under the International Geosphere-Biosphere Project (IGBP) and World Climate Research Program (WCRP).
For more information about the ACCMIP including background, documents, timeline, and contact information, please go to the ACCMIP Web Page on the Goddard Institute for Space Studies web site.
Further details about the workshop to be held January 30 through February 1 will be posted shortly.
Meeting: Task Force on Hemispheric Transport of Air Pollution
February 1–3, 2012
In conjunction with the workshop and held at the same venue, a meeting of the Task Force on Hemispheric Transport of Air Pollution (TF HTAP) will take place on February 1-3, 2012. The TF HTAP meeting will focus on refining the draft Work Plan for 2011-2015, with a goal of identifying specific projects and project leaders who will carry out the work plan moving forward.
The development of the draft TF HTAP Work Plan has been documented on the HTAP wiki site. It addresses the objectives, policy questions, and research themes identified at the 2011 Arona meeting (ECE.EB.AIR.GE.1.2011.7).
For information about the meeting, please go to the TF HTAP Meeting Web Page.
