Hua is a data scientist at JPL with over 17-years of distributed and computational systems experience. He is PI on several earth science projects enabling large-scale and cloud computing-based science data systems for atmospheric science (A-Train) and solid earth (SAR and GPS) processing, analytics, and machine learning. In this project, Co-I Hua will work with other investigators and developers to lead algorithm integration into the data system for running production in NASA's HEC Pleiades supercomputer. He will also coordinate with the ESDIS DAAC for data product deliveries. He has previously chaired several ESDSWG working groups and will therefore also represent this project in the required ESDSWG (e.g. Metrics Planning Group).
