Dr. Nguyen is an expert on statistical data fusion for remote sensing datasets and has published papers on combining information from multiple instruments. His research interests include machine learning, spatial statistics, data fusion, and optimal retrievals. At JPL he is a member of the OCO-2 validation and the AIRS uncertainty quantification and data fusion team. As part of this proposal, he would be the primary person responsible for creating fused C-ESDRs
